Correct feeding with Faresin machinery

Faresin’s Precision Feeding (PF) line of trailed mixer wagons enables operators to quickly create uniform feed rations for a variety of recipes and efficiently discharge it to the livestock.

Providing livestock with the correct balance of nutrients is critical, and the specific type of feed being prepared should be considered when choosing a feed mixer.

Faresin’s PF line of mixers are fitted with a two-speed gearbox, which allows a fast or slow ration mixing time. The conical mixing tub and internal geometry ensure a constant flow of the product, while consistently mixing a multi-product ration.

Options available include a side hopper to allow trace element introduction into the mix at ground level, plus Near Infrared Analysis which provides detailed information in real time of all raw and rationed materials to provides optimisation of the feed.

The fitting of the Portable PoliSPEC NIR device allows the feed to be studied for various parameters to determine the best quality ration to be mixed.

There is also a long-life option, which adds a stainless-steel internal liner to the mixing chamber floor, tub sides and augers for increased durability of wearing parts.

All Faresin PF trailed mixers have a front-mounted cross conveyer discharge with a honeycomb-belt which allows for feeding to occur on either side of the machine.

A 1.25m discharge elevator is fitted to the right-hand side for a SPEC 1 version, while the SPEC 2 version has an additional 3.2m elevator. Other elevator type, size and position options are also available.

The PF 1.11 trailed mixer is a compact option while still offering a capacity of 11 cubic metres.

The PF 2.14, PF 2.16, PF 2.20, and PF 2.24 are mid-sized models with capacities of 14, 16, 20 and 24 cubic metres, meaning a product is available to accommodate farms of all sizes.

All models in the PF range are fitted with four load cells which provide precise weighing in all conditions.
